UPDATE:  As a result of CVGP club President Ben Vaughan starting a new venture of Eastern 
Gold Prospectors Association and to avoid any conflict of interest,  at the February 16th meeting 
he resigned as President of Central Virginia Gold Prospectors, effective immediately.    All of the 
other officers then proceeded to submit their resignations and gave their reasons for doing so.
 
 As a result of all the officers resigning and after a discussion with the members present,  a 
special election was held with the following results:
