EVENTS

CVGP participates in Field Days of the Past in Goochland, Beaverdam
Heritage Day, Goldvein Jubilee, Orange County Fair and Street Festival,
Buckingham Days, and Jamestown 400 Celebration. In the past, the club
has participated in the Gold Prospector Association of America Annual
Events.

Training Seminars are offered in mine safety, dredging, gold panning, and
environmental concerns.

CVGP sponsored a youth gold prospector club at the James Monroe
Middle School in Greene County

Each meeting offers refreshments and fellowship, and picnics are
frequent.
